Fear and Loathing in Stuttgart

In Stuttgart, Arkansas in the waning moments before the beginning of the Wings over the Prairie festival in their historic Main Street district.  The World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest is Saturday, and our crew is heading their to stream the entire thing live through the tubes of the internets to all the people that spend weekends watching…duck callers…calling ducks….online?

Sure!  It’s bound to happen.  The plus?  The “Duck Gumbo” cook-off and super-mega-uber-ultra party.  Supposedly good stuff, and all that is right about Southern hospitality and lax public drunkenness laws.

I’m sure there’s something worth seeing, as much as I’d like to spend the Thanksgiving weekend at home, with the missus, playing the Doctor to her sickly self.  But duty calls and I come skippin’.   Bills and all that.   Paying them and such.  A must do in this modern society.

I will post pictures and things will be seen that can’t be unseen.  That much is for certain.
